The Story

Introduced in 1969, the El Primero holds a singular place in horological history as one of the world’s first automatic chronograph movements; and remains one of the most technically advanced ever produced. Capable of measuring time to 1/10th of a second thanks to its high-frequency architecture, the El Primero became a benchmark against which all modern chronographs are judged.
